Testing My Skills Through Teaching

During the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to work at Grier Summer, a summer camp at the Grier School in Birmingham, Pennsylvania teaching Digital Art and serving as their summer camp photographer.  Throughout the six weeks spent on the Grier campus, I was able to open up creative doors for campers ages six through seventeen, capture many ‘first’ moments, but most importantly put my own digital art skills to the test by teaching classes.

Communities Center on Partnerships

Juniata College class and Huntingdon Community Center partner to improve marketing of offerings

Huntingdon, Pa. – Monday. Apr. 16, 2018

As both a Huntingdon native and professor at Juniata College, Ryan Gibboney has the ability to act as a bridge between her hometown community and that of the College. Beginning in the fall 2016 semester, Gibboney started to empower her students to work with community partners through her Integrated Media Arts classes.
