POE: Multimedia Production with a Secondary Emphasis in Marketing

I realized I consumed so much sports content that I loved watching. So, I decided to try my hand at making it myself. As an athlete myself I’ve always wanted to be represented by awesome content. I feel like that doesn’t happen a lot in D3 athletics so I wanted to take a shot at representing us.

It feels satisfying to create a story in your head and make that idea a reality for people to enjoy. Storytelling is an art that requires so much attention to detail and seeing it come to fruition is an amazing thing. I have worked in sports communication for around 2 years now, taking and editing photos for games as well as making highlights for different games. I think that my internship was an important experience. There’s no other way to learn than by getting out there, failing, learning, and trying again to succeed.
