POE: Multimedia Design
I came to Juniata not entirely certain what I wanted to study within the art field, but quickly found an interest in photography, design, and digital art. My passion in various fields is continuously being allowed to grow as I am afforded new opportunities in IMA.
I chose to study Multimedia Design because I transferred into Juniata with a very creative background and I have been interested in the idea of graphic design in some capacity since I was young. Digital art was not something I was able to explore until I came to college, but I knew immediately that I wanted to learn more about it because I love working with photography.
I love that I am able to use my creative side in order to explore interests I had before, as well as ones I have found since I began here. While I have been here, I have been able to work with various community partners, as well as helping to write and and create the Senior Stories for the IMA website and social media sites. This internship with the IMA program has really helped show me that I enjoy working on web design, and it is ideally something I would like to pursue as a career.
