I came to Juniata not exactly sure of what I wanted to do, I just had a passion for social media, theater and storytelling. The IMA department found me and allowed me to realize that I could transfer my love for sharing stories in a digital, creative format. By being exposed to so much through my IMA classes, I found my passion for TV journalism. Despite not having a journalism program, my POE has set me up to be a self sufficient TV reporter right out of college. I feel confident filming, editing and talking in front of a camera every day through my role at WNEP-TV because I got so much video experience at Juniata.
My POE in Multimedia Design allowed me to combine my passion for digital illustration, graphic design, and work with community partners. Throughout my time at Juniata I have had the opportunity to think deeply and experiment with new mediums and techniques. My passions have evolved into a love for universal, human-centered design work and I hope to one day create lasting change with my work.
