My POE Media Arts & Technology consists of IMA and Computer Science. IMA has helped me get the best of both worlds. Merging my love for art and creative with creating apps. I love how I get to build an app and get to use my artistic side, and all have learned from my IMA classes. What more can I ask for? IMA has helped me see the numerous opportunities I can go into. In particular, the client-based classes have helped me to identify that this is what I want to do as a career. As an English POE with a secondary emphasis in IMA, I was able to explore art in forms such as novels, memoirs, and poetry, as well as examples of television, graphic art, and interactive media. IMA has given me opportunities to write and edit for projects that are very likely similar to ones I would work on in my career after graduation.
